So you want to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 8

As you are happily exploring around the internet you find some strange things going on at some sites like google, gmail, older sights and so on. You see the the logon and submit buttons are so small they can not even be seen. So hay I will fix this my moving to compatibility view. And guess what the same thing, you can not read the buttons. So you call the bank, amazon, and others to ask them what is wrong with there sites. They tell you not a thing is wrong with our sites, get Firefox all will be fine. Which by the way is true. However, It is not the site problem or is firefox a magic fix all for all sites. The problem is Microsoft and what they do to customers to make them use there products there way not your. Below is the Fix to Fix Internet Explorer 8 with out spending endless hours look for it:

Go to Tools>Internet Options> and select the >Advanced tab.  Under the Browsing section remove the tick from "Enable visual styles on buttons and controls in webpages" and click on OK, the change should be instant.

There you go another fix that should of never been a fix in the first place.

I really have nothing for IE8…. I Just don’t like it. I only keep it around the see how messed up my pages are with it. So I can deploy all the IE Hacks “that Microsoft stated would no longer be needed”. Firefox can be a mess also. Try being a professional web designer and making all this code render right in every browser out there is a total pain in the brain! I will be making a badge soon stating this:

“This website runs on any browser that you can get to work right”
    We suggest the Lynx browser.
