Oct 20, 2008 - I've smoked the stuff and read Strassman's book. I don't recall there being any proof of DMT occurring in the pineal gland. If I remember correctly this was pure speculation on Strassman's part. I also read he was doing some research on Salvia combined with meditation. He seems too new agey to be taken seriously from my perspective.

Nov 4, 2008 - You dont make it, you extract it. But of course, you dont want to do that, becuase that would be illegal. Hypothetically speaking though, you would need some mimosa hostilis root bark (legal), some sodium hyroxide (lye), some lighter fluid (naptha), a jar, and a freezer. Use a straight to base method, mix water with lye to ~ph10-12, add the root powder, add the naptha, mix to let the dmt go into the naptha, separate it, put naptha in the freezer to precipate, come back a day later, and voila. ;)

Now I recommend you all to watch the movie again and listen carefully because there are parts cut out something to do with building something for 49 days etc. I sadly didn't read the book, so I'm not sure its answered there. Could any1 light some information about that?
