Oct 26, 2008 - I think they're both very good, but as I can't play the 2nd one (at least on anything above "Static Lighting") I couldn't accurately say. From what I've read, though, a lot of gameplay elements have been improved in Clear Sky. Upgradable Weapons and Equipment for one. I can't think of much else, but I know there's more.

Oct 26, 2008 - Like I said, I tried it on the DX9 setting, I tried it on "Objects Dynamic Lighting", nothing better than Static Lighting works. I don't care if I don't get to use DX10, but either way, I'm not using it. And I don't know what XR Bypass is, so I'm not using it.

Nov 18, 2008 - i dont know if i should buy this game or not.I got shadow of chernobyl and i like it a lot (finished it multiple times) ,but clear sky looks more like a boring RPG to me (it lost all its atmosphere) im not here to criticize i just want to know: is clear sky like Shadow of C. or a lot different? and is it worth buying?

Oct 26, 2008 - Sorry it took me a while to respond. I was at a B-Day party. Umm, some anti-viruses can cause lag, so that's why I always have mine off. I play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky with 1280x1024 resolution, 1x AA, no AS, texture on all the way and object detail, grass density is half way and view. I have static on because my computer can't handle it.. for now. I just bought an extra gig of ram this morning for my PC so it should be able to play it on DX9 soon. And no, I was born on December 2nd.
