Jul 8, 2008 - One of the band member's mom worked at the sailing club I sailed at when I was a kid and she said they pulled this video because MTV got a really negative reaction from viewers who said they didn't understand it. I'm not going to claim I can explain every nuance of this video, but I sure as heck wish they hadn't replaced it!

Sep 15, 2008 - Very hard for me to imagine a better video than this. It's concept is so artistic in the use of light, shadow and simple objects. In it's simplicity it far surpasses anything that's being made in the music video genre today. Plus the song is exquisite and a joy to listen to. Good Luck to Pink, Rihanna and all the rest of the AI types for their trying to get close to this

At a stoplight, this song playing, our eyes met, and I knew...I will never forgot the intensity and still feel it like it was 1997 all over again.

May 14, 2008 - I first saw this video way the hell back in the 90's, back when MTV played videos, and I only saw it once and thought it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. Then it disappeared and they replaced it with some crappy video with performance footage. I've been looking for this thing for 10 years - and it's just as good as I remember it. Amazing, amazing work.
