Nov 9, 2008 - It's hypocritical and irresponsible of him to tell his audience to tune-out celebrities. Everyone has a right to speak up and without celebrities speaking up and getting attention on important issues OF THE PEOPLE, wed be in a lot more trouble than we are. The establishment wants celebrities to have 0 influence because they can be a dangerous if people start listening. Without celebs, the people would be left with almost no voice. Thats a scary thought. Celebs are the voice of the people.

mikwid Says:
Nov 15, 2008 - I think the point he is making is that more people need to research and learn from a variety of sources (non-NWO media) and then have their OWN ideas. Have your own opinion. The goal is to share with each other and evolve and refine that opinion so that it is one that allows you always to be learning more.

Nov 21, 2008 - I agree with him-- but...um...sorry, he IS a celebrity. He has a TV show and is known all over the world as a musician and cable TV pundit. He's not Noam fucking Chomsky. As much as he would like to be. -- he played Lollapalooza. Sorry, but that's what celebrities do.

Nov 26, 2008 - Henry Rollins long time friend of Ian MacKaye, guy who wrote the song "Straight Edge" where the Straight Edge movement derived its name... If that doesn't clear up why he would be involved with the Partnership for a Drug-Free America, I feel sorry for you.
deliciousmorton Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - oh.
Catchitime Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - I don't think celebrities are the voice of the people. firstly, many celebrities live lives nothing like those of average residents of whatever country. secondly, most celebrities got to be famous by being self-centred

Oct 13, 2008 - For example that situation with the VMA awards on how everyone stood up for the Jonas Brothers, and I'm like typical cause they're all from the same mould, that Nickelodeon, MTV etc lifestyle that's frying everyones brains. Even Hip Hop music has turned into Pop culture none of the Hip Hop artist these days have balls to say what they want, or Rock personalities if you could even call them that, if there even are any.
